Twas the Night Before Lesvos…

It is remarkable how time flies.  When the chance to go to Lesvos, Greece was made available to our worship ministry at CrossRoads back in late November, only God knew who would be a part of the team.  The Lord was keenly aware that ten were to go and begin a journey together that would bring them to a place of humility, service and compassion.
As we embark on this journey to a place we have never been before, to meet people we don’t know, there are numerous emotions that could describe what we’re feeling right now.  One thing is for certain – we are honoured to go.
We are in transit right now.  We have arrived in Frankfurt, Germany and are on our way to the gate that leads us to our Athens flight.  Before the end of the day, we should arrive in Lesvos, as ready as we can be for the adventure ahead.  As you think of us today, please pray that we would have great love for the strangers we meet.  That every person we serve would believe they are worth every moment of time God put into them when He created them.
Ultimately, please pray that we would do two things – Love God & Love People (that one is for you Lundell beauties – I love you).
Thanks for praying everyone.  We’ll write again soon!

  1. May The Lord bless you with boldness and fill the 10 of you with His love and mercy. My prayer for you today:

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
    In Jesus’ Name, Amen

  2. Continuously lifting up prayers. May you feel the love of God and pass that love on to those you minister too!

  3. Continuously in prayer for you all. May you feel the loving presence of the lord as you reach out for those who need HIm!

May you love Him deeply and share that love with the people who are so desperate for Him!
